watching a tv news report on vets who rely on food banks and charities etc to eat, 20% of those receiving food benefits are vets, 25% if you count current vets serving, then I heard another report on the $1.5 trillion 40 decade program for the F-35, a plane that doesn't even fly because it's plagued w/ so many problems

and I wondered why vets go hungry, or anyone for that matter and I'm puzzled w/ why Lockheed Martin still builds it and causes other military industrial complex corporations cause China & Russia to pursue similar planes/programs...it seems like a scheme to me, and vets lose to the tune of $1.5 trillion that could went to feeding vets and possibly building hospitals & hiring doctors at VA facilities...breaks my heart to see news stories about vets going hungry.
