In Arkansas, near the McCellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, up to 5,000 blackbirds were dead, scattered everywhere. They literally littered the town of Beebe, Arkansas.
Then, 100 miles away, eighty freaking thousand (*now reported at 100K) drum fish turned up dead.
Everywhere, dead flippin fish.
A report on the news said that scientists don't believe the two are related.
